reach 1 teach 1 love 1 (r1t1l1)

R1T1L1 is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, co-founded by two loving families affected by mental illness and suicide. This foundation was designed to advocate for change in the stigma of mental health and suicide; to help open doors of communication so that youth do not have to suffer in silence. -It’s important to talk about mental health issues & suicide - really, it is!

We believe that keeping communication lines open and not being ashamed of sharing feelings or concerns is a pathway to a positive mind set. We connect with teens and young adults by spreading hope, through community service projects, speaking events, and proudly spotlighting our youth advocates and their stories of inspiration through our website and social media pages. Our wish is to prepare youth (and their parents) with coping skills to help endure today's pressures. Our passion is fueled so that others do not have to experience the gravity suicide and mental illness radiates through families, friends and communities. We dedicate our foundation to those willing to listen and the two children we love entirely, that inspired us to start this journey.

Be sure to sign-up for our email to keep in-the-loop of our events and outreach. We are greatly appreciative to all who help us spread love to impact all!

We are NOT licensed mental health providers. We do not council. We live and share through our experience. We do not charge for our presentations and are able to offer our services strictly from donations.

MISSION:
Our mission is to share our experiences, to promote awareness of mental illness and suicide, and offer encouragement and hope to reach one, teach one, love one, to impact all.
